Default A living poster child for living Jeff Cooper's 4 Rules

RULE I: ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

RULE II: NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY

RULE III: KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

RULE IV: BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET
This is gruesome, but nowhere near as gruesome as it was. Be forewarned.

The stuff you see in ~10 years of Burn/Trauma ICU is amazing. The shit the human body can take is outragous. The stuff we do to people to get them "better" is sometimes horrible. I think he looks pretty good.

"We" had a lady that tried to commit suicide by shooting herself in the head with a handgun (from under the chin). She didn't get the right angle and literally blew off the front of her face. A poor med student had to hold the OETT pre-op because there was nothing to hold it in. After a handfull of surgeries, the only real problem was a small necrotic piece on her upper lip. She looked amazing. If those pics made you nauseous, I have some that would make you reproduce lunch. Can't share em' though.
I don't watch shark week. Sharks watch FLICK week.

I was thinking about being a responsible poster. Once you've had a traumatic amputation run, or something similar, it's amazing what you can handle.

I've also seen some true horrors in the neonatal ICU. Nothing to do with Jeff Cooper, more to do with genetic blueprints gone wrong. After a while you wonder that anybody turns out as something that approaches normal.
Know your audience. Don't try to sell a Prius at a Monster Truck Rally.
