Need gunsmith to widen free float handguards for ar15 piston conversion
Prefer a gunsmith where I can drive too. I am in the Willow Grove area.
I am looking around for a gunsmith who can modify my ar15 LaRue handguards to allow the use of a piston rod to fit through the upper rail channel.
Only modification needed is to have that one chanel widened since the channel becomes very shallow towards the barrel nut end.
Any reccomendations? Not looking to spend a fortune since this is a rather simple modification.Last edited by FJR86; July 26th, 2010 at 02:11 AM.

If you bring it over, I would be happy to have a look.
