    Default Knoebels Grove CC

Taking the family there soon, do they have detectors, searches? Can I bring in the VersaPak?

come and go as you please. No gates, no check points, no admission or parking fees. Never had any issues there with cc.

We'll be going up there for a long weekend Aug 19-22. We stay at the campground next to it. I have seen a No Firearms policy for the campground but haven't seen one for the park itself.

Unless something has changed since last year you shouldn't have any issues w/ CC in a Versipak.

This is one of those rare times when CCing in a small fanny pack doesn't draw a second look. Also, a small fanny pack can be skootched around easily to fit into the spaces around where ride retention presses.

On a side note, you can bring coolers and your own food and drinks, grills and/or whatever else you want too. They have picnic areas with tables by the parking lots and used to even have charcoal grills setups already there (you bring your own charcoal.) You can buy wristbands for the heavy riders or tickets for the minimal rider (tickets do not expire by the way.) Either way, I'm sure it will be the cheapest day at an amusement park you've had for a while.

Why bring food? Knoebels has been voted as having the best amusement park food in the country for several years now.
We'll be taking the grandkids there on Wednesday for our annual outing. We've been doing it for years. Unlike some parks, it's remained a nice family oriented place.

I absolutely love it up there. I have a park map hanging on my cubicle as I type this.

FYI, DO NOT ride the "Skloosh" ride unless you're versipak is waterproof, LOL.

Just went there with my family a few weeks back carrying my G36 IWB.

Got off the ride and as I walked across the bridge over the water I got drenched with a wave of water from the ride again, and then realized "WTF was I thinking ???" LOL.

Dropped mag out when I got back to my truck, and a splash of water came out. Everything was cool except for the laser, which needed dried out with my wife's hairdryer when I got home. Love my Glocks and CTC lasers, can't kill 'em.

But to your original question, conceal and go, and have a great time. It's a great park !
