Default So what you guys think of Ruger's new semi-auto?

A ruger's new(and first) striker fired polymergun - just like everyone else

I've always liked ruger. their semiauto pistols are ugry, are bulky, feel cheap. But accurte, and built like a brick. terrible gun to carry, but great when your life depends on it in your bedroom.
My friend swears by them - more so then his Glock17.

I like its concept, slimness, adjustable back strap - just like my M&P. But unlike my M&P, this does comes with external safety for added confort...

I might have to go take a look at these new ones. Never liked Ruger semi-autos before but they do build some tough guns.

    Very nice.

I'll bet the folks at Ruger are all partying like it's 1986.

I think that safety looks like a tiny, on-off switch for a toy.
I'd have to see it in person. Nice looking firearm though.

I really like how high the grip is cut in the rear, that gun should sit very low in the hand. I've never been a huge fan of Ruger autos, but this one actually seems like it might be worth checking out.

This is one of main reason why I never cared for Ruger Semi-Auto's, and one of main reason why I love my M&P. higher the barrel sits away from hand, less controllable it seems to me.

Safety does look bit chinzy, but at least it has safety.
