    Default wasr10 help

    ok so i went shooting today and as i was shooting i noticed a difference in firing as in something wasn't right, as i search around i noticed 2 pins that hold the trigger in place come loose when shooting **this has never happened to me, but could this cause irregular firing? accidental discharge or anything of the sort? **again no irregular or accidental discharge has happened to me** any info is great and any fix is awesome thanks in advanced pm me with anymore info you need

    There is a wire that holds the two pins in place. Check inside the receiver to see if the wire is still there.

    when i install the safety switch does the retaining spring loop (left side of picture) have to go on it? im trying to make sense but hard to explain

    There is a Shepards Crook that holds the two(2) pins in place, and keeps them from moving around also. That is the "wire" thing you are talking about, it should be up against the receiver, there should be a lip on the pin, the "wire" should be inbetween the receiver and that lip, that is how the crook keeps the pins from moving.

    do NOT shoot the AK without the shepards crook in place....it will slowly push the pins out and either you'll loose the pins and your FCG will all come apart or at the least your FCG will just come apart...either way a big pita.

    The saftey has the bar come across the inside of the receiver, to the hole on the other side to keep the safety in palce, IIRC the Shepards Crook pushes against the bottom of that, to keep some pressure on the crook and hold it in place.
