Comparison bwtwn LTCF and PA DL

I recently posted a comment on that speaks for itself. Within minutes it was moved to the"Lounge" an area that no one reads. I've never visted it.

Lounge is- "everything off-topic. You can post non-firearm topics here as long as they comply with other forum guidelines and standards." If I was talking about my favorite cell phone it would be in the lounge.

My topic was clearly firearms RELATED. It clearly pointed out absurdity of County LTCF differences.

Because I did not agree that it was "firearms related", and moved it there.

Drivers License will be issued by the Sheriff in each county. The exception is Philadelphia where the Police Department will issue. Called LTOV(License to operate vehice) not Drivers License.
The application process,fee and form will be uniform HOWEVER........

-Each county can add other fees and requirements such as the ability to perform a tune-up or get fingerprinted.
-You must be interviewed to see if you are suitable.
-If you lose your license you must reapply for a new one
-To renew your license you must go thru the same steps as a new driver including drivers test.
-Your license is good only in PA but some states will honor it.
-Because of the potential harm from driving you must provide references and employer information. They will be interviewed concerning your character. They must be County residents and not members of your household, Police Chief, Judge or President of the USA.
-To be able to drive in more states its useful to get a non-resident permit from a state that has more reciprical agreements.

Some insane crap but essentially what we go thru. Can you imagine people putting up with this crap for a DL?

While a clever comparison, you did not so much as mention LTCFs. It probably would have fit right in to one of the existing threads on the extra requirements that are imposed around the state.
