Pole Barns
Anyone have any experience with them? I am trying to figure out a ball park cost of these things and it would be nice to know someone that has some experience with them.
I have only had my hand in 1 pole barn install and it was a totally different setup, and was built for work. Needless to say I don't have that kind of money

Re: Pole Barns
We have built several over the years, it is not rocket science.
The local Menards has a inter-active set-up that will help you design and price different buildings. If you have an idea of about what you want I would be glad to go in and run the paper and give you all of the moral support.Courage is being scared to death--but saddling up any way. John Wayne

Re: Pole Barns
I was going to say the same people. I know the owner for a long time since back when we were in school before he started with the pole barn buisness he was making kitchen cabinets, and my one friend was working for him since he had his kitchen shop in his dads barn. he put the deck on the back of my parents house and built the garage for them not a stick building it was attached to the house, he dont do jobs like that now though he only does pole barns. it depends on what you want to the price but if you want one with room for a loft/second floor the prices go up since the post prices jump for longer poles and sheet metal for the sides going from 8-10 foot sides to 16-18 foot pieces
