Fun little heat wave

I'm kind of a wuss when it comes to high heat. Very low cold temps don't bother me as much as you can always add more layers. Only so much you can take off before it becomes indecent.

AC is a must for me when driving in this kind of heat. Good thing is I only take an average 1MPG hit on my fuel economy. Downside is my AC is so economical that when stopped in traffic it can barely maintain a comfortable temperature given very high outside temps at its highest setting. Good side with all around town driving (no gridlock, but no long distance highway trips, a mix of short limited access highway, non-limited access highway and local roads) I still get 30 MPG.

At least this is temporary and we aren't outside carrying full battle gear like our military. Think of them when you step outside for a few minutes then get back into the air conditioned comfort of your home as quickly as possible.

That was our February cookout at Jonestown Fish & Game in Lebanon County.
We intend on doing similar things again this coming "cool season".
Keep an eye on the Lebanon County forum and the Shoots & Range Trips forum to pick up on our chatter and the actual posting of future events.

We deep fried a turkey in December and had a fish fry in February. We've had a few other cool weather cookouts as well. We've had people from Lehigh, York, Delaware and other surrounding counties come to help us have a good time.

I will definitly keep an eye out for that, it looks like a good time and a place to meet some pretty cool people. I knew there was a reason I installed that magpul all weather trigger gaurd on my AR

It's been awesome. I don't have AC in my house right now either (thanks home inspector). The system is scheduled to be replaced on the 12th, but it's been brutal. My wife and I have a 4 month old and we've been sleeping at my parents' place. It was 99 in my bedroom at 6:30 when we came over to take out the trash and take care of a few things at the house.
