New here, Hello!

I've been lurking here for some time now, and have printed tons of papers from this site to keep on my clipboard in my car "Just in case" and the little trifold for my wallet and I just wanted to say "Hi"

I'm the proud owner of a Glock 19, 9mm w/ night-sights and I've recently started to OC. I've been CC for some time though. I am very grateful for the wealth of information availible on this site. I am always amazed about how ignorant most people are about gun laws and how they assume everything is illegal. Most people I know will say "matter of factly" all kinds of crazy things like 'Guns are illegal in bars / banks etc" and they don't believe the actual law no matter how well you explain or display it. It's so frustating!!!

Welcome. Yes you're going to get many questions when you OC. It's good to keep informed of your rights & laws concerning carry, so you can give interested people correct info when they ask. Some folks aren't receptive to teaching though, & sometimes it's best just to walk away.

I try to be as friendly, polite and as informative as I can, but some people are just insane and delusional when it comes to these sorts of things. I had a cashier at a bar attached beer store tell me guns are illegal in bars in PA. I just smiled and said "Thats not true" and walked away... what else could I do?

That is always the best way to handle it. Be a positive model of the community and understand some people would not believe there house is on fire if they were burning to death.
