    Default Spare AA Battery carrier for EDC flashlight

    I've been looking for some kind of tube that I can carry an extra AA battery around on me for my Fenix LD10 and I finally found it at Michael's craft store. I'm sure you may see them elsewhere but they are perfect.

    First break the candy part off, then using wire snips remove the clear plastic cylinder that twists up and down. Once that is off, hack saw the rest of the pink candy sheath off at the lip at the clearly defined edge just below the dots. File it smooth with a file and your good to go .

    I just use my pocket if I know the battery may be low.

    Perfect fit yes, however after carrying it in my pocket awhile the lid did come off. I fixed the problem by putting scotch tape at the seam. I'm happy again .

    Good tip.

    My light takes 3xAAA in a holder that fits nicely into my front grip.
