LTCF classes in Delco?
Yeah, I know they aren't required.
But I think they are necessary, if you catch my drift.
Anybody know of any place around Havertown that offers good classes that even meet the criteria for FL non-res? My father lives in FL and I'd like to be able to bring my weapon down to shoot with him when I visit. In addition, I'm in a pipe band in DE, and I'd like to be able to have the weapon in the car if possible.
I'm a member of DCFS. AFAIK, they don't offer these classes. Do they?

Re: LTCF classes in Delco?
There is no such thing as a class for a LTCF, at least not for a Pennsylvania LTCF.
If you have a resident PA LTCF you're good in Fla. as we have reciprocity with Fla.
Fla. or Utah will give you Delaware, check the training section of this forum, classes are always being formed for those two states. Delaware is also an open carry state and you can carry in your car as long as the gun is visable, such as on the seat next to you or dashboard. For more info see http://deloc.org/
You may also want to check your local gun shop for classes.
