agreed, I would almost rather you HADNT gotten it and moved back to NJ (or NY or wherever you are from). You came here for advice, got the advice but also offers from people who have never met you before to go out of their way to not only help you (RSRD) but stand up for you in a public forum (ironsite)

Okay, I know this thread is over a year old. I too read all 14 pages hoping for a good outcome and am very disappointed in the way it ended. cmr076 summed it up very well and edv177's 11/5/10 post above was his very last. Apparently Run Silent Run Deep never got any kind of apology that he sincerely deserved.

All in all, I wonder if edv177's issues with the Sheriff's department regarding his LTCF weren't of his own making. Perhaps the Sheriff's department messed with him thinking he needed an attitude adjustment. If so, he got it... perhaps well deserved.

As for NJ, he can have it! I purposely moved to DE in order to escape from there.

Yes, he stated in his very last post on 11/5/10 that he had finally received his LTCF. But sadly, there was never a public response to Mingomom's 11/6/10 post...

You know, I'd like to see a SINCERE apology to Run Silent Run Deep especially, but also to all the folks who tried to help you through this process. They gave information, that had you followed it exactly like they indicated, you probably would've had your LTCF much sooner. Irrespective of that, you seemed to take for granted that someone would travel hours out of their way to help you. Calling him a nice guy is insufficient, IMHO.

RSRD, if he apologized to you in private it would have been nice to know, and I wish you had mentioned it earlier in this thread. I know there are a lot of very helpful and kind people on this site, and it would be nice to know those being helped really do appreciate it. The way this thread ended sure didn't seem to be the case this time.
