Bench pictures wanted!
At one point in time, I shot some informal benchrest competitions and the value of a good bench was obvious. True when doing any serious rifle work/testing really.
My local range here in North Carolina is a great place to shoot handguns, but the "benches" are, IMO, pathetic. The range simply has one long table the width of the range(about 60 feet) And a couple rough seats. The owner says that, if you learn to deal with it, the table top is "not too bad".
I say hogwash.
In all honesty, I don't think the folks that run the range have any idea of what a "proper" benchrest looks like. I'm hoping I can trouble someone on here to post a pic or two of their "proper" shooting benches.
Be assured they WILL be shown to the range owner.
THANKS!

Hard to beat poured concrete. Good luck getting the owner to drop the coin...

Re: Bench pictures wanted!
Sweet!
Nice to see the detached seats. Don't care much for attached seating.
As far as the coin, I hear ya.
I tried initially just to get them to add some 16x24 inch extensions off the back table edge. They're handgun shooters though, it's hard to talk sense to them....
