Don't fear the night, fear what hunts at night.
TNVC D-300 behind my Aimpoint T-1
please excuse the shitty cell phone pics, these optics were more important
weight is around 16 oz I believe, but it's so far back you barely notice it.

thanks it's actually as stripped down as it's gonna get before a new coat of paint. I sold off my Magpul ACS and KAC rail on ebay and I tried the moe stock that was supposed to go on my middy and i liked it so much it's staying.

Re: Don't fear the night, fear what hunts at night.
Very nice.
That's obviously Gen II.
I've wanted a D-300, or preferably one of it's smaller brothers, for many years. Cash, price, and opportunity never coincided. I would be happy with modern Gen II for the intended purpose. I would prefer one of these to a PVS-14, even though the PVS-14 has better performance, for my intended purposes.
I have some Pinnacle tubes that exceed current US milspec OMNI 7 in performance. Hand picked for old Raptor scopes, and further hand picked from there. I had some connections. Also have a nice 25mm Gen II (not your daddy's Gen II) riflescope that kicks serious ass. Plus a lot of stuff I consider toys.
Don't even think of using that for home defense. You get shot while you are playing with it. Home defense weapon must be grab and fight.

Yep, gen 2 D-300 mil spec from TNVC. I couldn't pass it up, lightly used for $1200. I'd love to have PVS-14 as well as a DBAL A2 but the price on those weren't truly realistic. It's much clearer when not mounted behind my T-1. In hd mode is the T-1 with a KAC 300m rear sight.

Pretty cool! I've been wanting an intensifier for raccoons and other nighttime pests around my house. I can usually open the door without them running off but when I hit the lights they run.

Re: Don't fear the night, fear what hunts at night.
I thought the ebr additction was bad as I started a new build before I got this. I already wanna start whoring myself out, donating sperm, etc. for gen 3 This will have to do for now.
