Eh, it's alright. Figure about $125ish for a lower with transfer and about $70ish for a LPK shipped. About the only advantage is not needing to pay a transfet FTF, however since it's about what you'd pay including transfer the only advantage I see is there not being any paperwork on it which for some people is worth it. Any parts it has beyond the bare LPK such as reciever extension or stock would make it a better deal. Also if the guy installed the LPK I'd pull the trigger group once you got home to make sure everything is installed correctly. Not that I wouldn't trust the guy (I wouldn't regardless) but it is not hard at all to install a trigger or hammer spring backwards/upsidedown.

I wouldnt buy it. You can get lowers from AIMS for about $60 +/- (+ transfer fee/shipping), lpk for another $60. No mention of stock/grip, so if it has one, it likely has the cheapest one out there, maybe another $40-$60 for that.

Since it was coated, it probably won't match your upper - if that is important to you.

The deal seems a little high - but i guess it also depends on how badly you want a non papered (FTF sale) lower. Assuming he'll do a FTF sale. If you need to run it through an FFL, and pay their fee too - there is no way i'd buy it for that much.

I have a brand new Stag Arms lower with a RRA LPK installed. It has been Moly-Resined Colt Grayish-Black......it is 100% spotless brand new. $200.00 FTF
    No way.

    Here's what I'd get - http://www.wideners.com/itemdetail.c...13&dir=700|863

Oh, wait - I already did. LRB Arms makes great lowers, and I'm buying a couple more. After transfer/shipping, I paid about $105. A lower parts kit runs about $65 shipped; just shop around. Save yourself $30 and the aggravation of having to remove that paint.
