Does that apply to any WASR? I'd love to get my hands on a 5.45 WASR.

That's where I got mine. Wemnt through 6 or 7 to get one that wasn't canted or wobbly. Shoots great, though.

I'm pretty sure it said 7.62, with no mention of 5.45.

truly the best thing to do if you don't want a wobbly mag is spend even less on a single stack and modify it yourself for double stack......

That's what I did......made mine really snug and I fixed the cant myself...

Mags that wobble a little that don't produce a feed issue are good. Mag changes are hard enough on this platform. The more room you leave yourself in the magwell, the easier they are change.

    It's really that simple.

So if it bothers you that much go get some over size poly mags that are too tight and practice mag changes with those. Then go back to steel mags that wobble a little and do the same drills.

And then tell me if you are still concerned with it. Bet you aren't.

This is just my opinion! but when i hear people complain about wobbely mags and canted sights,i thinks its kinda funny because to me every AK type rifle is kinda crappy made, even the $800 polish ones,if you want fit and finish quality buy a $1000 AR15,remember we are talking about a $380 gun, just as Asmodeus6 said they still work great, i see so many wasr 10s that look like they were built in some romanian dude's basement and the work fine even with lacquer coated wolf ammo, what im trying to say is even though wasr parts don't fit together real nice and when you shake the gun it sounds like stuff is gonna fall off it,they still work fine, I STILL WISH I HAD ONE! my saiga ak conversion works great but i still miss the plain wood furniture, bayonet lug, cleaning rod,and slant muzzle brake look of the wasr,to me that screams classic AK looks,I realy don't care like some that my saiga is a real soviet made ak type rifle..... MAN I WISH DUNHAMS WAS CLOSER! MIKED22 we might have to make a road trip out to lebanon PA!
