Default KIMBER RAPTOR AT LAST :)

I've been wanting this Raptor for good while but I like to buy local & they are hard to find on the shelf. Today I decided to drop by my local FFL & BAM...there it was, mine in my hand at last. And I dam sure brought it home to live

IMO the Raptor is one of the best looking 1911s going... congratulations.

Thank you...thank you very much. I wanted this one more than my Wilson & Nighthawk...I really love the machining on it like the top of the slide, serration's etc..very different, I love one's that don't favor other's...like my SIS...if you've been reading my post... LMFAO

Good buy, I own one in black/blued, love mine. It looked nice like yours for about two days. I then proceeded to put it through the ringer. Scratched to hell, part of the grip missing, one of the rear mepro lights missing. I carry it almost every day in a super tuck deluxe or VSII. Kydex is hard on blueing.

I'm hard on stuff. All my guns look like they were drug behind a pick up and then ran over with a tractor.

    Enjoy your new buy.
And if you want to race, name the place and I'll show you where it's at mother f@#$&#!

Nice gun. Prob my favorite Kimber. Question: What was the quality like? Last 3 Kimbers I have picked up have had rust on the chrome on the chamber end of the barrel. Just hoping that they have their problems figured out. Cant see spending 1K plus on a gun that is rusty before I even leave the shop

I really like the 1911s and defiantly like the raptor. I have a hard time spending that much on a pistol when I can spend half or less than half and have one of the most reliable guns out there on the market, plus then I have to get .45 ammo and thats not cheap...
This all coming from a guy who took 10 years to justify the money for an AR....Now I have 2
I am sure it will happen at some point! Great gun!

Dam I hate to hear that, I have never had or even heard of such a problem. Your right if you want a great defense gun one can be had had for much less than a good 1911. They are an addiction if you get a good one it's like a work of art & you will want more like the AR's.
