Put the gun-empty of course, in a baggie or wrap it in Saran Wrap overnight. Work it in and out a couple of times, but not too much. it will loosen.

squeeze it, roll it, fold it, etc, beat it up, draw and reholster your empty weapon a hundred times, you'll be good to go.

Re: How To Quickly Break In Leather Holsters
Thought of the draw and the reholster but did not want to wear at the finish of the gun. The guy at the gun shop said to use vegetable oil and rub it in dont know about that one.

Wax paper. Start with one wrap insert pistol in holster leave overnight and you will be GTG. If still snug, just use one more wrap until the tension you seek is found.
Works perfectly!

Check out Mitch Rosen's Leather Lightning (Kimber also sells this on-line in their store). It's not harmful to your weapon and it makes the holster very slick without making it too soft.
I've used this product and it's very good.

Re: How To Quickly Break In Leather Holsters
In the past I have used baseball glove oil, warmed it up (left outside in the FL summer sun), placed unloaded gun in a heavier plastic bag and worked it in and out. Good luck.
