Glock Vs. 1911 Poll

Now I realize that this is going to polarize most people. I know that people really feel strongly about this one. My vote goes to the 1911 because I like heavy guns and because the Glock grip is too short vertically to fit my hand and the finger grooves don't fit. That said I would love to have the Glock's ammo capacity and double action operation. I would solve one of these problems with Springfield Armory High Capacity 1911. 13 Rounds of .45 ACP.

I like the hp better ...the XD is slide heavy more so than the glock...at least the older versions of the xd are ...i dont know about the newer xdm

I prefer the 1911 because there is so much accessories and after market parts (of excellent quality) available to customize them for virtually any purpose or configuration.

I personally would not mind having a od green framed glock and a browning hp...the dilimma...which one to carry...lol

Wow, what do you know. A new poster posts a thread / poll about glock vs 1911. next thing you know someones going to start a poll about 9mm vs .45. or better yet, which AK should i buy or what AR is the best.
