    Default Sherrif signoff for NFA

    I finally called Tom Young.

HE will not sign off for ATF forms 1&4 for anyone.

He claims he is worried about liability. He said if he signed off for one person he would need to sign off for everyone. I'm not buying it. as his first remark was " nobody needs an SBR".

As far as I know the DA in Tioga County is the only one that will sign. George Wheeler signed my last two NFA forms. The guy before him signed a bunch for me. I just sent him a letter and the forms with a self addressed stamped envelop and he sent them back signed.
