LTCF Fees Question

I just recently took a look at my permit (I keep it in an inside pocket of my wallet I rarely go into) and noticed a lot of the writing on it is rubbing off/fading. Nearly all pertinent information is legible but I still want a new one...I just got this one a few weeks ago. Anyone know offhand if I can get a replacement one for free or at least not the full price? I called the issuing sheriff's office and was put on hold twice and disconnected twice

I will try again tomorrow but figured someone might have dealt with this before. Thanks!

That will likely vary by county. Perhaps someone from your area will chime in.

If you do end up getting it replaced, make a copy, carry the copy, and keep the original in a safe place. It's absolutely legal. Some Sheriff's actually suggest this themselves.
