Default Visiting courthouse for very quick errand, do you still carry?

Was wondering...say that you know you will only be in the CH for a very short time...go in, pick something up, come right back out.

Do you still carry and go thru the check-in/lock up procedure? Or not carry at all...or just leave it in the vehicle...if you drove there?

I know some CHs make it more difficult than others to go thru this process, which might have something to do with the way you answer.

I'd have to say it'd probably be less hassle to just leave your firearm in the car. If you're running in to pick up a dog license, it'll probably take more time to check in and lock up the weapon that just stuffing it in your glove box or trunk. Just my 2 cents.

Checking it really doesn't take that long...

I'd rather lock up at the courthouse then remove my firearm and stow it in the car...

    Which courthouse is this?

I go through the rigmarole; our courthouse isn't in the best of neighborhoods.

yes, but I'm getting quite annoyed that the Delaware County court house is still in violation of the UFA..we have to go across the street into the basement to check in our firearms. I wrote the county council a letter 2 months ago and never received a response..guess it's time to write a follow up.

Of course I would carry. I did this just the other day, went in for just 10 minutes to help a friend get his LTCF.

i wrote the Delco Solicitor, President Judge, and Sheriff. The sheriff wrote me back promissing to look into the matter and promised me a reply back. 1 year later no reply. I guess it's time to write him back!
