    Default Empty Cases

Was not sure where to put this so. Sort of a junk collector and have been saving the empties for awhile. A buddy has some reloading equip. that has never been used and I was going to give it a try but dont have the time. So what do I do with all of them.

Plenty of folks, in your area I'm sure, can use the empty brass. Yeah, you can sell them, either as an unseparated lot, or if you take the time to separate the calibers, bag them in 1-gal zip-locs, you might get a bit more for them. Not sure what you have or how many, but you can list them in the classifieds section under Accessories and Ammunition and see who wants them.....what kind of reloading equipment does your buddy have, he might want to post a sale thread too and turn the stuff into cash. G/L~~

The 9mm are all together and the rest are mixed but may have to give that a try what are they worth. I thought i could scrap them if I got enough.

Post a classified ad here on PAFOA for them. There are plenty reloaders looking for once-fired brass.

Do a quick search of the Internet, you'll find plenty of companies selling once fired brass. Most sell clean, polished or processed brass. Range pickup won't get the same price but you'll get an idea of what's available and what it's going for. You might stumble upon one of the few who sell brass that's been sorted by caliber but not cleaned or processed, that'll give you a better idea. Try searching the classified section here, I see once fired for sale quite often. Those that bump their ads a few times either have something less popular, their prices are on the high side, or their ad isn't worded as well as it could be. Follow the examples of the ones that say "sold" with few or no replies to bump their ad.

I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.

Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled brasses yearning to breathe fire,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shooting.

Send these, the powderless, bullet-tost to me,

I lift my press handle beside the golden door!"

They are worth more as once fired brass then you'll ever get for scrap metal at a junk yard. As noted, the prices are reflective on the condition and looks of the brass. Cleaned, polished and sorted brass will get you the best money.
