NHRPC "Mogadishu Mile" Field Course
Registration is open, and details are on the club website.
http://nhrpc.org/index.php/groups
CoF is available there too (inside the match document there is a link, but here too for convenience)

Honoring the US forces that fought in Somalia, we're running something that's been done with great success before, but adding some new twists, and naming it after a strenuous run under fire, though you are only actually going 300 yards.
If you have seen the movie, some of this may be remotely familiar to you.
There are 8 shooting points, which include various position shots and barricades. Even a downed "Buickhawk" crash site that you will have to secure, and establish radio contact with command. They might advise you that even more hostile targets are approaching, and to reduce them all. .......
Prizes in Magnified, non-magnified, and Kalashnikov.
Finish up and make your way into "Pakistani Stadium" (the target pits) where you can rack that hot rifle, and some cold water awaits. Maybe even some olives, hummus, tomato, onion, and pitas (long as it lasts).
Club members get first dibs in half the spots. The rest of the spots are FCFS.
Come on out and have a great time.

Looks like something I would really be up for, but that is a hell of a drive.

If you click through to the online registration form, there's a drop-box for "Arrival time". If I'm reading it correctly, there are still slots available @ 1PM.

I don't see the link on NHRPC page to sign up for this event, can you send the specific link for sign up?

Yup - if you signed up already you are shooting.
It is full now, and I have just closed registration down, so if you haven't signed up, I'm sorry but you will have to catch us next time.
Thanks, and regrets if anyone didn't make it.
