    Darn.

Missed my chance. Well, hopefully there will be similar deals in the near future.

    Regarding the rest...

"$60 for a lower parts kit (including grip)
    $40 for a buttstock

$170 for a complete lower. Nice. Think I'm going to have to jump on this.
Where you seeing all this at????"

The $60 lower parts kit was something I saw at MidwayUSA. The trigger is around 8 pounds on that, but that's not something I really care about. I'm used to Mosins, AKs, and my Ruger GP100 double action.

I've seen $40 adjustable buttstocks just about everywhere.

As far as buttstocks I just bought an AR-15 slightly used, only about 200-300 rounds put throught her. She came with a Command Arms Accessories...AWEOMSE stock IMO. Also they are right here in the Philadelphia area IIRC. You can also buy an add on adjustable cheek piece and has a battery compartment, both ambidextrous. Mine also came with that stuff. Since I am fairly new to the AR world others would know for sure how good it is as far as long term reliability and all but so far I love it. I actually was considering getting one for one of my AK's awhile back but didn't like how they connect to AK's. On AR's however they are excellent IMO.
When ALL else fails...the AK won't !! Emotions...??? emotions are for people who CARE !!!

Jeff Cooper was a huge supporter of gun games, when he was winning them at least...
