HELP how do i ship my guns to Alaska ??????

I have an opportunity to travel to Alaska and work for the Park cervices for a couple mounts or longer. What do I have to do so i can have some of my guns delivered to were I will be staying, how do I need to ship them I have never traveled by plane before and don’t know the laws on shipping a firearms. PLEASE HELP….. (rifles and hand guns)

Either option will work, but I'd opt to fly them out with me. It's not as big a deal as it may perceived to be.

As Al said, you can take them with you, it's really not that difficult. Or, if you know the address where you will be staying, you can ship them to that address in care of yourself. If where you are staying is run by someone, notify them that you are going to do this so they won't be caught unawares.
