Benelli Nova back from the gunsmith!

I had my Gander Mountain gunsmith drill and tap my Nova and install a Mesa Tactical picatinny rail. Needless to say, he did a great job and my shotgun looks amazing! The Benelli has a completely different, much more aggressive look to it now.

Thank you! I love everything about this gun. I took it to the gunsmith at Gander Mountain in West Mifflin, PA on Thursday evening, he was done Saturday and I picked it up Sunday morning first thing. I had called one other gunsmith the week before but that fucker told me it would take him two weeks! Let me repeat that, TWO WEEKS to drill four holes! That was the asshole in Dormont (name removed by staff) (I probably spelled the cocksucker's name wrong, who gives a shit) but Jason at Gander Mountain is great. I could've had it in less than two days if I had been able to pick it up on Saturday (I was working).

I actually made that sling myself. I stitched some shell loops from a bandolier that I cut up onto a Butler Creek padded sling and had to reconfigure the nylon straps to accept sling swivels. It took me a LONG time to do it but it was well worth the effort. As far as the weight goes, I like my shotgun to be heavy. I'm not really sure how to explain it. Somehow the weight equals confidence and a feeling of security for me. I'm probably alone though, the first thing that everyone who holds it says is "Damn it's heavy!".

Maybe the fact that gander mountain could do it so quickly is because everyone takes their guns to a reputable 'smith, thus creating a backlog for said 'smith.
