Question sbs considered an aow on gunbroker.com?

i keep seeing these short barreled shotguns on gunbroker being listed as only needing a $5 tax stamp meaning they are aows if i am correct but they seem to just be sbs? im confused anyone(jaybell) want to make a clarification for me?

    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...?Item=81323167

edit: does it have something to do with a pistol grip?

someone more knowledgeable will chime in, but I believe short barreled shotguns fall into the AOW's category

the one time TRANSFER (from dealer to buyer in state, or private seller to buyer in state) tax of $200 is for:
    Machineguns
    Silencers/Suppressors
    Short barrel Shotguns
    Short Barrel Rifles
    Destructive devices

a one time transfer tax of $5 is for all AOWs "Any other Weapons" which includes smoothbore pistols, cane guns, wallet holsters, briefcase guns, gadget guns, pen guns, etc.

You are correct. They are indeed smoothbore pistols.
