Thumbs up Greater Pitt to Re-Open

A friend emailed and said Greatter Pitt is going to re-open this weekend. Can anyone confirm?

The web page still states: G.P.G.C. Is closed until further notice

Greater Pitt opened last weekend. At least three PAFOA members were out shooting on Sunday. All needed info at this link.

Actually, the Greater Pitt webpage will remain that way untill Tex tells me to do otherwise.

As for the reasons it closed, that is a family matter, and this is not resolved yet, you might do a search of Greater Pittsburgh and GPGC on google many of the links will bring you back here, there are about 6 or 7 threads now.

Still by any means, the best way to get the info is to go there for yourself. No amount of talk between people can convince you of how the club is for your needs.

    Dave,

You may already have checked those other threads but here is some of that info if you haven't.

There's a damnable a mount of reading there so the skinny is this.

The club was open last weekend. Myself, ALS, and gkanga all shot there.

I was told by Tex that the club was supposed to reopen NEXT weekend.

I was told there will be no Full auto till things settle back down.

I was told someone new was going to operate the club ( I don't know exactly the who referenced).

    You got it fella.

I would call Tex to verify and make sure you don't waste a trip.

I would be hesitant to renew my membership till something definite occurs although Tex extended my membership for another year when I sent money in shortly after he closed the first time.

    That's all I know.

The GPGC is now open under new management and ownership Tex is just helping teach the new owners and managers how to use things so everything keeps running smoothly and pretty much the same as it used to I'm still working on getting the website back up it's under construction but just come on by or give us a call

What are the weekend hours of operation?

Are they still open to non-members?
