Little Pine State Park
My wife and I drove there yesterday to do some shooting at the range only to find the shooting range under water. Flooding from the dam to the archery range. PA's very own tsunami.

Re: Little Pine State Park
What are if any the dates this range would be closed?
I would think during certain hunting seasons

Re: Little Pine State Park
I'm not aware of any specific dates the range would be closed though I'd be leary during regular firearms season for deer.

Re: Little Pine State Park
I'm kind of hoping they make it a little nicer....Apparently they're doing it to clean up the lead out of the ground. For now, i suppose i'll get a membership at Tiadaghton Sportsman

The range cleanup/renovation is nearly a year past the posted completion date.

Re: Little Pine State Park
Since the range has been closed nearly two years, I sent an email asking about the status of the renovations. Below is the reply I received this morning.
Lycoming Supply has just set up their equipment to start the renovations. It will be a more ‘user friendly’ range with a pavilion, restroom, benches etc and ample parking as well as a pistol range and revamped rifle range. They hope to be done in the allotted 180 days so that puts us at just about October.
Thank you for your inquiry and happy shooting.!MikeP

Re: Little Pine State Park
I really had my doubts that they would ever reopen this range. I have spent many hours there. When they closed it "for renovations" I thought that it was just an excuse to keep it closed for good.
Glad to hear that I may have been incorrect. Thanks for taking the time to contact the officials and letting us know.Mike

Re: Little Pine State Park
Getting ready to open but I do not have a date. A friend sent me a couple of pictures and it sure looks nice.
Don't know how to upload the photos. Sorry.
