Cass Sunstein is on the verge of being confirmed as Obama's Regulatory Czar. Cass Sunstein is a strong gun control and anti-hunting advocate. It's not just because of their beliefs that these czars should be removed. It's because their appointment is beyond the scope of power given to the President by the Constitution. In addition, because these czars hold similar authority to cabinet officials, their appointment is an end-around on the constitutional check-and-balance which allows Congress to review and approve/disapprove such appointments. It should be stopped, and stopped immediately.

Sunstein received a formal nomination (not an appointment), so he is not a "czar". There were sufficient votes for cloture yesterday, and he was then confirmed by the Senate.

I had a long serious talk last night with my dog. I'll summarize it for brevity.

The day you go to work, bring home a paycheck to support this family, and walk on two legs, you will be given rights and privileges. Absolutely....It's unbelievable how the State run media ignores this. I don't care what side of the aisle you're on, you have to know, if you put your partisanship aside, this is all about power grabbing.
