    Default Exton Walmart

Are they selling handgun ammo anymore? They totally rearranged the store a couple weeks ago and now it looks like they only carry rifle ammo (except a couple handgun stragglers). And not too much of that either.

    Anyone know?

BTW, they still have a couple boxes of Winchester .25 and .44 magnum if anyone is interested. They have had it for a couple weeks.

Nooooooo way. Was that the Exton Walmart or different ones? I may have to visit all the local walmarts to help them unload some of that ammo before its gone for good.

yeah I think they are going away with "handgun" ammo. I have been in the exton walmart a lot lately through the whol transformation or whatever. They used to have empty spots on the shelves with labels for 9mm, 357, 38 or whatever in handgun ammo. Now the shelf is smaller and all the handgun ammo is gone and there are no spots for them. They still had a ton of shotgun ammo and some rifle ammo in a new locked case. It doesnt look like they are getting rid of that just the handgun ammo. sucks but whatever.

Go down to targetmaster. They are overstocked with ammo and have pretty decent prices too.

It was the 2 i mentioned lewisburg and selinsgrove, Both managers said they would not be restocking handgun ammo, Again not sure if that is walmart policy or just something they are telling ppl...They still have rifle and shotgun ammo, They dont want to lose the "Hunters"..If it is true i will no longer be using wally world being i only went there for ammo for my handgun

They are overstocked with ammo? Do they sell .223? And their prices ain't bad?

Last time I went to target master it was a zoo and I could barley get any service, let alone enough time to think about the ammo price and compare. I guess I went at a bad time of day though.

If you're referring to Targetmaster, from UTI it's south on 100 to 202 south, and then 20 minutes to just north of the DE state line. Probably a 45 minute trip. It's in Chadds Ford, PA. They do stock a ton of ammo, but call first.

Not worth the trip, from the reports I've read.

    According to Targetmaster's website:

Remington .223 55 gr. FMJ Factory Ammo

    $189.99 / 400 rds. in 50 cal. can

I would call first to make sure they still have it.
