Who has Celox-A Applicator Delivery System in their GSW kit?
Curious how many look at Celox A as a "must have" item for their range bag?

Re: Who has Celox-A Applicator Delivery System in their GSW kit?
I have quick clot packs in my range bag.
They don't have an applicator, just open the pack and apply.
I have to put some of the following in there too:
Maxi Pads
Tampons
Duct Tape
empty and clean potato chip bag...large
all of the above do wonders on gunshot wounds, and the infamous sucking chest wound too
Now if I was crazy enough to go to a State Gamelands Range I would add some body armor with trauma platesgotta love her ;)

Celox-A and a bunch of other stuff in my drop leg rig and duplicates in my go bag. The granular stuff isn't in protocol so C-A is for me and family only, but I fully expect my crew to use it on me if necessary. Standby, I'll get a pic.

Re: Who has Celox-A Applicator Delivery System in their GSW kit?
Funny this popped up today. I just finished gathering some basic supplies to put together a 'formal' range bag. My former range bag was a backpack with just a few boxes of ammo and ear muffs. lol.
Not that I expect any of you fine folks to lay it all out in a nice itemized list or anything (lol, maybe? ), but in your educated opinion, what exactly would constitute a solid GSW first aid kit for a range bag, besides duct tape and a large absorbent towel? I don't even know where to get a lot of the things I see above. I want to put together a kit that would fit within a standard sized range bag and be reasonable enough to carry to and from the range.
I've read some things online but most of the lists I've read online read like a supply closet in an emergency room. Sure there's lots of important stuff in there, but there's no way I'll ever need to lug around 50 lbs of medical gear I don't even know how to use!
I have a basic idea of what to put in one especially from the pics above, I'm just looking for some real-world knowledge from some of you who obviously know a lot about it. Maybe just a link or two to a reliable resource?

Re: Who has Celox-A Applicator Delivery System in their GSW kit?
A good range bag or any first aid kit should start with knowing how to use whats in there. ummm emsjeep n95 mask woooow you are prepared. Hope your behind me if I ever need a medic. But I diddn't see an epi pen. I'm more afraid of a bee sting then a gsw. Is a perscription required?
