LTCF Residence Question
I'm new here and have a question. I live in Centre County (student at PSU) but my legal residence is in Warren County. Can I apply for my LTCF in Centre County or do I need to head back to Warren to do it? I've tried looking but can't seem to find any information directly relating to this.
Thanks,
Tim

Re: LTCF Residence Question
Yes, would have to be Warren Co. in your case.

Re: LTCF Residence Question
The Centre County Sheriff in Bellefonte will issue permits to students in your situation. I just got mine recently and was in the same situation (non Centre County PA driver's license) and it is no problem, just keep in mind the address on your application and permit will have to be a Centre County address.
I know this goes against what everyone else said, and I was surprised too.

Re: LTCF Residence Question
This may be a little obvious but did you ever think of calling Sheriff Nau and asking him?

Re: LTCF Residence Question
Denny is a good guy. If you can show Centre Co. res. (Util. bills, Rent Recpts. ) He'll issue to you even without a Centre Co. address on your Pa. Lic. Call and ask if you have any questions, they are always helpful on these issues.
