NH LTCF - Is it really this easy, or am I missing something?
Anybody here have the NH permit? I'm filling out the paperwork as we speak and it seems pretty straightforward and cut-and-dried, so long as you already have your PA LTCF. And it's only $20 for 4 years.
Is it really this simple, or am I missing something?
P.S. Disappointed about the recent cancellation of the Utah class. Hopefully it will be offered again in Eastern PA in the near future.

We'll know shortly. Mine went out on Saturday.

By filling out and mailing this form: http://www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/n...ts/dssp260.pdf
Costs $20 and I got mine in two weeks.

what does the NH permit give you that we don't already have with the PA LTCF?

In theory, two things:
1) Should protect you against overzealous LTCF-snatching sheriffs who want to prove a point regarding the open carry of firearms.
2) Grants reciprocity with Alabama.
3) It's dirt cheap.
4) If you're ever pickpocketed, you'll have a backup LTCF.
5) If you don't like photo ID's, the NH LTCF has no photo.Last edited by mjf; September 23rd, 2008 at 09:46 AM.

If you don't know who your state legislators are go here:

put your zip plus 4 in the box in the upper right hand corner.
