Kimmel Center in Philadelphia
Asked this over in GT and got no response..On a bright note I found this site....
I plan on taking my wife to a piano concert at The kimmel Center in center city Philadelphia and would like to know if they are off limits for ccw. I will prob be heading down by train and and won't have many options if I find there are metal detectors and signs all over the place. Has anyone been there recently that can give me the lay of the land? Thanks

Re: Kimmel Center in Philadelphia
I haven't been there for about 8 months. There were no metal detectors or pat downs then. I don't recall seeing any signs so they probably weren't there either. Either way the signs shouldn't mean anything if you are concealed. Good luck. Hopefully someone has been there more recently that can help you out.

I was just there on Monday for the Hall and Oats concert and there were no metal detectors or pat downs. I did not know the protocol either prior to going and took a chance anyway. I drove and could have put it in my car in case they said something.

And I was there in early November, no checks made on me either. IIRC, there wasn't even a "no weapons" warning printed on the ticket.

This is positive...Now if Independance hall and the Constitution center just followed suit philly wouldn't be such a bad place..

I was there tonight. No detectors, pat downs, etc. Looked for and did not see any signs. Walked right in .
