Default So the police called my house today...

... and asked about my guns, and I don't know what to think. They wouldn't tell me if I'm in trouble or not, and I am supposed to meet with and talk to an officer tomorrow morning. He asked a lot of questions, and wouldn't give me any information about anything.

EDIT: I'm going to leave it at that. Thanks for the advice, everyone.

AFAIK - in Pa, the only way someone between the age of 18 and 21 can legally own a handgun is for that persons Father or Mother, Grandfather or Grandmother, to gift it to them.
(Someone should be along to confirm or correct this)

Get a lawyer and don't discuss this matter anymore in a public forum. You may not purchase a pistol in Pa until you are 21. I believe the two exceptions to the law are, a gift from a parent or a private party purchase, the catch however is that a FFL may not transfer the gun because you are under 21 so you must have it transferred through a Sheriff I believe. My understanding is that most will not do so. I am sure if I am incorrect someone will correct me and clarify. This is coming from memory...

interesting. Borrowing a fire arm is not a crime tho....I cant find a link but i recall where a pistol was found on a bathroom floor in a store, they ran the sn and it turned out to be a cops. He loaned it to a female friend for protection. Atleast thats thier story.

Delete your post. Contact an attorney, and under no circumstances talk to the police without representation.

Hmmm an awful lot of these lately.

i was under the impression that pistols can not be loaned out, but long guns can.

if i am wrong i will be corrected shortly, but i believe just borrowing a pistol is a no-no!..(being unrelated to its owner at least, and not having a valid ltcf )

Wright or Wrong...Don't answer question's without an Attorney...period...Nothing. Tell them you'll have your attorney call them...SAY NOTHING ELSE! This is your freedom BY LAW. I use to be a cop DO NOT TALK TO THEM HAVE YOUR ATTORNEY HANDLE IT...LIKE YOUR FREEDOM? DO WHAT I SAY!!!! By law you can refuse to talk or awswer ANYTHING. You better or I hope you will take my advice.>>>>IMPORTANT: Even if they threaten arrest, smile ..say your car or mine & KEEP YOU MOUTH SHUT,,,I DO MEAN SHUT!!!...Even if you are scared as Hell...ANSWER NO QUESTIONS! Am I over reacting? Maybe...do you take chances with your FREEDOM? NO!!!
