frugal's forum..anyone else banned recently?!?

So I tried to log into Frugal's forum today and couldn't remember my password(login info saved on my laptop favs didn't work for some reason) and after several failed case-sensitive attempts requested a new password. they sent me one and as soon as I logged on, it said,

"You have been banned for the following reason:
No reason was specified.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never"

I thought WTF?!?! Is there a hack job on the site or what? I have never posted anything bad or inflammatory/inapprop or anything. Jusst recently asked a ? and logged in to check 4 responses and get this. the sight won't even let me contact them to ask what/why ....

I haven't logged on there for quite a while. Might have to go check it out.

Edit: Ok I'm back. Looks like they are setting things up to get rid of snoopers and trolls. You no longer have access to every forum until you get 10 posts. Guess they are ramping up their security, the way they see it. Don't know why you got banned. Must have skipped one of their hoops.

They banned me. I never got in my ten posts and only visited their firearms forum. No loss for me or them.

Frugals is a good forum.

If you are into survival or homesteading or just want to save money and learn how to do things yourself that is the place to go.

There is a wealth of information to be had there on damn near every subject.

That being said, there have been many trolls, spammers and general shit stirrers over the years. I believe John is just doing a house cleaning and changed some rules to prevent more trouble.

A while back they had a notice about inactive accounts being cancelled. I'm assuming you don't post often. It is probably due to that. I don't know how to get you active again. Sorry.
