50 states fail to meet global police use of force standards
Well, I never would have believed it.
"Every state in the US fails to comply with international standards on the lethal use of force by law enforcement officers, according to a report by Amnesty International USA, which also says 13 US states fall beneath even lower legal standards enshrined in US constitutional law and that nine states currently have no laws at all to deal with the issue."

Amnesty International.....
Gotta read the fine print. For all we know they object to police having handguns..... or they insist that Police must follow some sort of international procedure which is also not followed by Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese and Indian Police.
Hell, Indian Police are supposed to beat your ass first and then talk to you.

Re: 50 states fail to meet global police use of force standards
As many issues as I have with police in general, I'm not in favor of requiring them to hug serial killers.

Re: 50 states fail to meet global police use of force standards
You all do know that when Amnesty International goes to shithole countries on fact-finding missions they insist that heavily armed security teams accompany them?
Right?

We have problems with the police here the US. That said, I don't care what the "Global Standards" are. Especially when they come from a libtard wet rag of an organization.
