Default Where can I get a j-frame holster that doesn't jam the cylinder into my hip?

Has anyone else run into this problem?

My Galco 1911 holster does this quite nicely, gets the gun away from my body, and sits relatively flat on my waist.

I've gone through (2) J-frame holsters and they both make me feel like I'm being prodded into a jail cell by an angry prison guard with the barrel of a gun jammed into my side.

Has anyone found a J-frame holster worth its salt?

Yep, Crossbreed Supertuck (or any other holster of similar design)

Also look into Minotaur MTAC, and Galco King Tuck.

I hate IWB, I have a 31" waist, it just doesn't work. I can only do OWB and I want leather.

In that case, I can't help you because I don't own any J-Frame OWB holsters. I do, however have a Galco FLETCH for my Glock 19 which works great. I'm not sure how the J-frame version is though, or if they even make one.

FWIW, I also have a 31" waist, and I've carried a Glock 19 IWB nearly every day for the past three years. I know it's not for everyone, but maybe you just haven't found the right holster.

I have found that small frame revolvers only "ride" well for me in appendix carry. I go IWB with a DeSantis and it works great.

I have a j frame IWB holster from N82 tactical. It's more comfortable than other IWBs, but I still don't like having the gun inside my pants.

I have always carried with galco and they pretty decent, however my last holster is a Mitch Rosen.................................wow what a difference in quality I will never go back.I currently using a upl "upper limit" express line holster which from your discription might be perfect from the way you discribed your requirements.......http://www.mitchrosen.com/

Here are two other options for OWB. I have one of each for a G26.

Very comfortable - easy on and off without removing belt.

Doesn't "force" the gun into your body as much as a pancake holster.
