I'm not sure if you're looking for plinking ammo or defense rounds but here is a good place to find deals:
http://gun-deals.com/
click on the ammo tab and select the caliber that you're looking for. hope this helps.

Dicks has it on sale for 11.98 per 50 if you buy a case(10 boxes). Through the end of the week, I dont shoot .45 so not sure if that is good. It is Remington UMC.

The sales tax you save buying online cancels out the delivery charge. Blazer, Wolf, Independence, and Ultramax all around $12/box. Natchez ships same day and it takes two days UPS from their warehouse in TN.

Re: Best price on 1000 rd case of .45?
Watch your gun shows. I know the Nations Gun Show in Chantilly VA has a dealer that buys factory reloads and resells it in bulk. I think I paid $130?? for 500 rnds of .45 acp. Its good stuff, cant really tell a difference from it and say winchester or anything else. However I would be careful with that wolf stuff. Had a buddy used to shoot it. Apparently sometimes (alot more than your better quality ammo) it doesnt have enough powder charge to get the projectile out of the barrel. Its a good thing the pistol jammed or he might look alot different.

i've shot thousands and thousands of rounds of wolf and never had a problem.
I'd personally take the money and start to get into reloading, not everyone has the time and/or money to start that process though.
