In .308 how about a beautiful Sako. I bought it for my son who does not want it. No MALE adoption applications will be accepted, applications from girls will be screened and then rejected. Email me at chalmitch@yahoo.com

Re: WTB: 243 or 308 rifle
Not to sound like a jerk, but you have 11 posts and every post pertains to wanting to buy a 243 or 308. Why not give more information as to what you want in the rifle....IE hunting, punching paper, mall ninja stuff. Also, include what you are willing to pay. You keep on posting about wanting to buy this rifle, but you don't give any details. The more details you provide will only help you obtain what you seek.

I have a Belgian Browning Safari grade in .308. 97-98%. Built in 1964, 22" pencil barrel. Redfield 1 piece steel mount, steel 1' rings.
Beautiful rifle, very accurate. $995.00 plus shipping/insurance.

Re: WTB: 243 or 308 rifle
Thanks for the offer pukindog, but that is a collectors item and I am interested in an everyday weapon.
Please tell me to leave if I am causing a problem aubie. My posts simply mention bolt action rifles in 243 or 308. I think anyone with one to sell will reply if they are interested. If I am using up too much of the space on the server with my posts, please let me know and I will no longer post. If you are spending the time to review my posts (all 11 of them) maybe I am causing a problem. I do not wish to do that.
Thanks,
Jim

Re: WTB: 243 or 308 rifle
Jim, I don't think you're necessarily causing a problem per se. I believe that Aubie is trying to say that he thinks you might have a bit more success if you're a bit more specific with what you want. Like just now someone had a .308 that was one of the higher ups that you weren't interested in. What Aubie is trying to say is in your original listing, it might help you get more responses if you say that you're looking for a "pickup gun" (one you can beat up) or a high end gun that is more of a safe queen. He's just saying if you're a bit more specific on what you want, people might pay a bit more attention to your post and also give you what you want as well.
