    Default "Lady Bushmaster"

saw one of these used (looked in great condition) at the Wash gun show for $600.

Interesting, super light, from my undertanding its just a Carbon-15 with a paint job.

    anyone got any info?

I think I remember hearing bad stuff about the Carbon-25's.

I might want to do a light weight build for my wife this year.

you saw a used AR-15 clone for 600 and you didn't buy it? You have to be kidding me.
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

I remember reading bad things about those too. you'd probably be better off building her a lightweight ar with a skinny .625" barrel, having it cut down to 14.5 and pinning a sabre defense extended a2 flash hider, kiss style, aimpoint h1 with a sf x200.

yeah, and its hella fun too

but its still a 9mm, even if +p's out of a 16 inch work up 357 mag velocity, its not a rifle.

From what I remember ... with those rifles you have to have a special coated BCG. That could be a problem, as you would need to have a "spare" that would not work in any of your other ARs.

I know there is a member here that started a thread about buying a pistol version. He ended up buying it. Hope he will chime in and talk about his experience.

If I had come across that, it probably would have been an impulse buy for me. Then, I would have had buyers remorse thinking I could have built a lightweight AR for the same or less. I converted my heavy barrelled AR to a new light barrel, stock, hand guards etc. I love it now. Your post has me thinking of a build project and painting it that "lady color" in the link you provided.

    Have you shot my AR?

I can't remember, but if you haven't, you're more than welcome to do so at the July shoot. In fact, I insist. If Annie's there, she's more than welcome to shoot it too.

It's a Delton 16" light weight rifle kit with the DTI 16" 1x9 light weight barrel. I ordered the kit with a Magpul CTR stock and had Lycan install a DPMS carbine carbon fiber free float tube.
