State police said the boy was firing a 17 caliber rifle when he lost control of it and shot himself in the chest.

Don't you know guns are always trying to kill people?
I have to constantly wrestle my pistol into submission, and I keep it locked up at night to prevent it from sneaking around. Damn things are worse than pitbulls. I'm just glad I have such strong arms. I can imagine a 16-yr old kid might not have the strength to tame a rifle.
