    Default Pro gun control forumns

I am trying to get an idea how the other side 'thinks.' Unfortunately, my google fu is weak and I cannot find an opposite and equivalent forum. Anyone know where to look?

If you click on the scale symbol in the upper right hand corner of a post you are viewing, you will get an option saying "I approve" and "I disapprove". Pick one if you want to give positive or negative rep to a post.

Damn you sure have a fitting username!! If you wanna see how the other side thinks. You just need to.....
    1. walk into ur bathroom

    2. remove your pants and any undergarments which are blocking your upper leg area.

    3. #3 is not what i would call a necessary step but still worth your consideration. You should consider stretching the hips, hamstrings, shoulders, neck, and back

    4. this is the first step where u will need to really exercise some caution, you will need to place either one of your two legs up on something elevated.... sink, tub, toilet tank etc..

    5. place some sort of lotion, oil or lubricating substance on your entire hair/head area

    6. quickly but firmly you will need to swing your head underneath/between your elevated and unelevated leg trying to keep centered.

    7. when your head meets resistance you have arrived at your target which should resemble a dirty "balloon knot"

    8. continue to push at this point until your entire head has been engulfed

Breathe deep and try to voice your opinions to others!!

Congratulations you have now seen the "other side"s point of view!!!
When unholstering your sidearm it is customary to say: "Excuse me while i whip this out"

I don't know of any "forums" per se but I read the Huffington Post as part of my daily reading. I consider it "opposition research". The comments on the articles will give you GREAT insight into the "thought process" of the gun grabber types.

They don't really have anything like the gun forums on the other side, where reasonable people swap facts and apply logic to problems, and refute their opponents (us) by dissecting their arguments and exposing flaws.

Facts and logic are not their friends, or helpful to their cause.

They basically swap bumper sticker slogans, of the sort that need a few paragraphs to refute. Like "armed guards wouldn't stop spree shooters because the Ft Hood attack was on a military base". Short, pithy, and totally wrong. But to refute it, you need to explain that ordinary soldiers on a base in the continental USA do not walk around with loaded guns, for a variety of reasons, meaning that the shooter had a target-rich environment of extensively-trained soldiers in a gun-free zone.

Progressive humor is not like our humor. Ours plays on facts, like "I'm looking forward to being lectured about responsible gun policy by a government that accidentally sold 2,500 'assault weapons' to vicious Mexican drug gangs." Their humor is just pointlessly mean, and relies on misleading innuendo.

I would look, but there are certain things I don't want in my history just on principle. Maybe check to see if Ceasefire has a forum.

I understand his perspective. Keep your friends close; keep your enemies closer. Besides, people are sheep so when a sheep is in a flock of 5 people who are in agreement on a topic, the 6th sheep just joins in. Introduce 2 people out of 5 with a differing opinion and the chance of them finding their viewpoint as valid and supported is greatly increased. I see it happen on other sites.
