    Default What stock is on this shotty?

    What folding stock is on this Remington?
    It looks like it is specially attached or something.

    And is THAT how it folds up? I'd imagine it tucks/folds down a little snugger to the top of the receiver than that?!?

    Its a top folder, Early Remington police guns came configured that way. For a time you could buy the stocks and aftermarket ones. I dont like them; had one and it wasnt to pleasant to shoot. That one looks like an aftermarket type. The remmy stocks were beefier and folder flatter

    Unless there are different styles of factory top folder, I don't think that one is a Remington LE stock.

    Same concept, but it doesn't look like the one I almost bought.

    Yep, Choate top folder. Very common and been around for, oh, about 15+ years now... They were very popular in the 90's
