If you are looking for the "best" its the HK AR Mags. Expensive but everybody should have one. Otherwise check our places such as www.44mag.com

Re: BEST AR MAGS?
PMags or the factory colts are the best IMHO

Brownells has some good mags. I have both their 20 and 30 rounders and tyey have never given me any problems and the price isn't too bad.

Re: BEST AR MAGS?
I picked up some HK mags at a gun show. I encourage anyone that has not held one to check one out. They are extremely heavy duty, the follower is silky smooth, excellent quality. I bought two at the gunshow and five more off of Gunbroker. They are expensive...$40+ a piece usually.

Re: BEST AR MAGS?
I have about 20 30-round mags.....all aluminum/UGSI style. Some are Bushmaster, some are ARStoner and the rest are CPRoducts. All have had the followers replaced with the MagPul Gen III followers and all have functioned 100%.
I see no need, desire or want to jump on the PMag bandwagon. The USGI mags served me well when I was in the USMC and I've never seen a mag fail other than the bottom tabs being broken off during disassembly. The mags were dropped, kicked, thrown across concrete squad bays, etc.
