    Default Double Carry?

I have searched through the archives...

I have read the entire Title 18 of the PA Code...

And I still haven't found if it is legal to carry more than one firearm at a time? All I have come across is a hilarious story of someone carrying six (a joke)

    http://www.pafoa.org/forum/lounge-10...led-carry.html

But what I want to know is: All practical implications aside...is it legal to carry more than one firearm at a time???
And don't think you're off the hook, voters, you're the ones who made this bed. Now you're the ones who are going to have to move over so a gay couple can sleep in it. Tomorrow you're all going to wake up in a brave new world, a world where the Constitution gets trampled by an army of terrorist clones, created in a stem-cell research lab run by homosexual doctors who sterilize their instruments over burning American flags. -- Stephen Colbert

You can carry as many as you want, and as much ammo as you want.

As was mentioned in the thread about how many rounds you are allowed to carry...

The same thing applies to Firearms

I don't know about hip and hip, but a lot of the people on this forum carry a BUG (backup gun). I would assume probably in an ankle holster.

The crimes code specifies what is illegal

Since carrying more than one gun is not there, it's legal

    Thanks for your help...

I figured if the crimes code didn't mention it, it would be legal...but again I didn't want to be bent over by 'The Obscure Law Attached to the Who Knows What Unrelated Law' that the federal and state governments are so fond of...

I've open carried two handguns, one on each hip, right through the Millcreek Mall in Erie. No looks, no issues. I was even on the 11pm news. Again no issues and we were all painted in a positive light. Had it been in any way "illegal", the news clip would have been much, much different. I probably would have been sporting a pair of very uncomfortable bracelets.

Its tough enough carrying one gun when you have to go pee-pee, try carrying two and going pee-pee. Now, thats accomplishment!

Yep, always better to ask/make sure... I mentioned it because your post read as if you were looking for where it said it was legal... Not going to find that

Wish many in "law enforcement" understood this simple concept...

Always be wary of the guy that only carries one gun
he may know how to use it.....
