A Cooley Rifle
I got a flyer in the mail this morning about an estate auction this Saturday. They have several guns listed. But one they list as a Cooley 22 Lever Action. I thought I knew a lot about guns. But this one eludes me. Has anyone ever heard of this particular rifle? And if so, what is the value of it?
Thanks for any help you guys can give me on this.

Re: A Cooley Rifle
It is a Cooey. Cooey machine & Arms Co. was sold to Olin ( Winchester ) in 1961. They were produced though the mid 70's. There ivery limited collectors demand for them. The lever .22 in 100% condition may go for as much as $150.00.

Re: A Cooley Rifle
that comp installed on the .22 will also help tremendously with recoil/muzzle rise.

Re: A Cooley Rifle
Thanks guys. But it says Cooley 22 lever action on the flyer. It also lists a National Arms 12 Ga. with hammers. I'm not real sure what that is either.

Re: A Cooley Rifle
CJR was right, It was a cooie made in Canada. And it wasn't lever action, it was bolt action and not 22 calibre. That flyer had so much stuff messed up on it. It said to turn on Hiway 247. Well I drove about 20 miles out of the way trying to find Hiway 247. It was suppose to say Hiway 243. When I finally foung the auction I told the auctionere that I was going to choke him. He said I noticed that after I had mailed out the flyers.
Anyway, I bought an Interarms lever action rifle model 92. 38 or 357 mag, made by Rossi. I paid $325 for it. I took a gun book with me and I couldn't find it listed in it. Anybody know anything about this gun? I've looked all over the internet and can't find it. Did I get burned on this purchase or not. If you guys have any information on this rifle I would really appreciate it if you could tell me anything about it.

Re: A Cooley Rifle
Interarms was the importer. They imported Rossi, Howa, Walther, and other trademarks from 1962-1999.
The Rossi 92 was available in several configurations. If it is the stainless version in 100% condition it might be worth about $340.00 If it is blue in 100% condition about $285.00
If you are happy with the rifle than it was a good deal.
