Default Does your holster fit more than one gun?

I'm not talking Uncle Mike's gun bag/holster, I'm talking something designed for one thing that somehow happens to fit something unexpectedly. I have an old German shoulder rig for a P226 that I got with my CZ-82 that also perfectly fits a Makarov and a .38 snub. Go figure. I also just noticed that my desantis dual carry for my G23 somehow fits my S&W 686 ...... the barrel sticks out the bottom but I'll be damned if the gun doesn't go in there snug. The thumb break even fits over the hammer...

Ever had an experience like that?
Just because 'perfect' is impossible does not mean we should settle for 'broken'.

Serpa 2, for a Springfield XD45 . . . . fits the Ruger P345 better than it fits the XD.

Have a leather three slot that fits a lot of different things

Just make sure you unload your pistol before going in for new holster

I can fit my wifes P226 into the same holster I bought specifically for my Ruger SR9. The thumb break even works properly.

I have Bianchi minimalist for Glock 27.
    I don't own Glock 27.

    It perfect fit for:
    S&W M&P9, M&P9C, M&P45
    Sig P226, P225
    Ruger P89, P90
    Walther P99
    (all similerly sized weapons)

Its my one fits all Universal holster that I used everyday for all my carry guns until recently when I started to carry Kahr K9 in Dan Hume's IWB.

I have Bianchi Black Widow for 1911.
It can also carry my K9(and i think it fits better for K9).

Incidently, above mentioned DanHume can also be used for my CBOB - Commander sized 1911, but bit on tight side.

    My holster

    ACCOMMODATES:
    GLOCK: 17, 19, 22, 23, 26, 27, 31, 32, 33, 36
    R/A: PATRIOT 45

Most holsters work with more then 1 firearm. If you go to purchase one you will see on the label what different firearms it will hold, different manufacturers as well as different models.

Indeed this is true, but my original question was about surprise fits... no reason a S&W revolver and a G23 should be able to share a holster, but behold...
